The Problem

On any given night, 643,067 Americans experience homelessness. Of this number, 238, 110 are families and 404, 957 are individuals.

Homelessness is becoming a major issue year after year. Too many believe that homelessness is a choice; however, the truth is that many adults in shelters have jobs, but cannot afford housing.

Only the lucky ones are given space in a crowded shelter – a small sleeping area and a meal.

Unfortunately, the homeless are not given the basic supplies necessary to maintain their healthcare.
